Grumpy - Hamster Small Animal

Shelter: BC SPCA - Abbotsford Branch Animal ID: 548442 Birthdate: March 23, 2022 - Juvenile Spayed/Neutered: No Male Meet Grumpy! This little guy is the last of 5 dwarf hamsters surrendered that were surrendered to our care. As you can probably guess by his name, he can be a bit on the "grumpier" side at times! Unlike his siblings, he isn't that fond of being handled... yet! Though, staff have been working closely at getting this guy more comfortable with human interaction. We are confident, that in a hamster savvy home, he will continue to progress! Grumpy can usually be found exploring his enclosure, taking a nap burrowed up under his bedding, or right up at the front waiting to be fed! Like all hamsters, daytime is dedicated to sleeping, so he can stay up all night exploring his enclosure! We are still getting to know this little one, but we suspect a home without kids would be best as he's still learning the ropes of human interaction!
