We manufacture pork, beef, turkey, and chicken products. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic QA Technician &ndashSummer Student to join our team. This position will provide coverage for vacations, that will require shift work (Morning and Afternoon). Position Summary: Reporting to the QA Manager, QA Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining the facility's food safety and quality program. This includes all necessary onsite and record verifications as well as facility audits, product sampling and associate training. It may also include testing requirements, pre-operational inspections, data entry and record keeping as well as other projects as deemed necessary by the QA Manager. Key Accountabilities: Primarily responsible for the day-to-day functions of maintaining the food safety and quality system in the facility Assist with HACCP system Reassessment and SOP updates under direct QA Manager /FSSS supervision. Record keeping of monitoring and verification documentsAssociate training (production, supervision, maintenance, engineering, etc) Data entry of test results into electronic spreadsheets Other duties as assigned.
