Family Place Program

Family Place Program Facilitator &amp Family Navigator Hope Community Services is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Early Years team as a part time (28 hours/week) Family Place Program Facilitator and Family Navigator to fill an extended maternity leave (August 16, 2021 &ndash December 31, 2022). This role involves working with families and children 0 &ndash 6 years providing support, programming, community belonging, early learning, education and more. Wage: Grid 11, Step 1 - $23.10/hour Requirements: Degree or diploma in Early Childhood, Child and Youth Care, Family Studies, or a combination of relevant education and experience Excellent group facilitation skills At least 2 years' experience working with families, parents/caregivers and children who may be living in conditions of risk Experience supporting Indigenous families in a culturally appropriate manner Thorough understanding of early childhood development and the needs of young children Well-developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment Interested individuals can submit a cover letter and resume to: Michele Thornhill, Executive Director Hope Community Servicesmthornhill@hopecommunityservices.comOr mail to: P.O.
