Max - Akita Inu Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - Abbotsford/Langley Animal ID: 493651 Birthdate: January 01, 2019 - Young Adult Spayed/Neutered: No Male Max is a HIGH energy boy who is very enthusiastic about life! He is working on his manners as he is very bouncy and doesn't know his size. He is used to living the majority outside and because of this is quite nervous indoors. This boy will require an experienced guardian to help train him. He is very playful and rambunctious. Max is still learning what a leash is and why he has to wear one. He seems to be potty trained and knows a few basic commands. Max is not suitable for a home with children under the age of 10 as his bounciness is quite extreme. He is currently waiting for Entropion surgery for August 19th but would love to find his forever home before then! Entropion is a medical condition in which the eyelid (usually the lower lid) folds inward. It is very uncomfortable, as the eyelashes continuously rub against the cornea causing irritation.
