MEAL CENTRE COOK - PT The Abbotsford Salvation Army requires a part time cook to work 2 &ndash 3 days/week in the Meal Centre.&nbsp&nbsp Meal Centre Cooks will prepare and serve nutritious meals for The Salvation Army clients (100 &ndash 200 people) and provide supervision to volunteers.&nbsp The successful job applicant should have Cook's papers (1 year course) and/or have 1 &ndash 3 years of prior related exp., with at least 1 year of institutional cooking exp. and must obtain a satisfactory criminal record check report.&nbsp Applicant should have exp. working in a team setting, able to lift more than 30 pounds, able to lead and support volunteers, able to complete tasks with frequent interruptions and able to work with people in a patient and compassionate manner.
